How to use this Practice Lab

1. Active Listening

Don't just read the Danish text. Listen to the audio first, then try to write down what you heard. This builds the "Danish ear" which is notoriously difficult due to silent letters.

2. Shadowing Technique

Play the audio and repeat the sentence immediately after. Try to match the rhythm and intonation of the Danish prosody. Repeat each sentence at least three times.

Important Grammar Note

Notice that in Danish, many routine actions use reflexive verbs (e.g., "Jeg rækker mig"). Pay close attention to these small words as they change based on the subject.
