The SOSU Grundforløb 2 (GF2) is a pivotal stage in the education of social and healthcare professionals in Denmark. Understanding one's professional identity, responsibilities, and legal duties—such as the duty of confidentiality—is fundamental to becoming a trusted member of the interdisciplinary team.

The technical aspects of the job are covered in our Clinical Nursing and Anatomy sections. Here, the focus shifts to the physical well-being of the citizen. Students learn the terminology for vital signs, hygiene protocols, and the management of chronic lifestyle diseases like COPD (KOL) and Diabetes. Mastering these terms is crucial for accurate Documentation, where professionals must record observations objectively and precisely to ensure continuity of care across shifts.

Rehabilitation and Ergonomics represent the modern healthcare mindset of "helping the citizen to help themselves." Our modules guide you through the principles of everyday rehabilitation, where the goal is to enhance the citizen's quality of life through activity and empowerment. Simultaneously, we prioritize the student’s well-being by teaching the ergonomics of patient handling and the use of technical aids via the "Transfer Pyramid."
