PD3 Exam — Introduction
PD3 (Prøve i Dansk 3) is the final Danish language exam for adult learners. It is commonly used for citizenship, permanent residence and professional requirements.

The oral exam tests how naturally and clearly you can speak Danish in real-life situations.
- Duration: approx. 10 minutes
- Topic is given 5 days in advance
- Short presentation + picture discussion

✍️ Written Exam
This section measures your ability to write structured, clear and relevant Danish.
- Duration: 150 minutes
- Email writing (mandatory)

- Very informal or very academic tone
📖 Reading Exam
The reading exam focuses on understanding meaning, structure and context — not every word.
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Skimming tasks
- Multiple choice questions
- Missing paragraph exercises

- Running out of time due to overthinking

You pass the exam if your overall average is at least 2.
